Therapy Sessions
Deep clinical work for lasting change.
Sometimes you need a space that’s just yours where you can slow down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and begin to understand the patterns shaping your life and relationships.
These one-on-one sessions are designed for deeper, more personalized support. Together, we’ll explore what’s coming up for you with curiosity and care, whether that’s navigating relationship challenges, working through anxiety or overwhelm, or reconnecting with your sense of self. Over time, this work can help you respond instead of react, communicate more clearly, and feel more grounded in who you are.
-
This work is best for individuals, couples and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression or recurring relationship conflicts who want meaningful, long-term change—not just a quick fix.
Through our work together, you’ll gain clarity around underlying patterns, strengthen emotional regulation and self-trust, and develop healthier ways of communicating and relating.

Types of Therapy
-
Individual Therapy
A space to explore your internal world, understand patterns and build tools for navigating anxiety, overwhelm, trauma or major life transitions. Together, we focus on strengthening self-trust, emotional regulation and clarity.
-
Couples Therapy
Support for improving communication, rebuilding trust and working through recurring conflict. Whether you’re feeling disconnected or navigating a specific challenge, couples therapy helps you understand each other more clearly and move forward with intention.
-
Family Therapy
A space to work through dynamics that impact the whole system—communication breakdowns, parenting challenges or long-standing patterns. The goal is to create more understanding, stability and healthier ways of relating to one another.
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

Therapy That Translates Into Real Life
If you’re seeing yourself in any of this, you don’t have to keep navigating it alone.
Therapy offers a space to step out of the cycle, get honest about what’s not working and start building something more sustainable with support that’s both practical and real.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Choosing the right path depends on your current needs and your location:
Choose Therapy if: You are looking for a deep-dive into your history, are managing specific mental health symptoms, and want a consistent, longer-term therapeutic relationship. Note: Due to licensing regulations, clinical therapy services are available only to residents of Montana and Idaho.
Choose Workshops if: You feel generally stable but are hitting a specific wall with communication, parenting, or boundaries and want actionable strategies to use today. Because these sessions are educational rather than clinical, they are available to participants anywhere in the United States.
Still undecided? If you aren’t sure where you fit, I recommend starting with a workshop. It’s a low-pressure way to gain immediate tools and see if my direct, relational style feels like a good match for your growth. Reach out if you have any questions.
-
Due to state licensing laws, I can only provide clinical therapy to residents of MT and ID. However, my workshops are accessible nationwide. These are designed as educational, skills-based sessions, allowing me to provide the same practical tools and direct feedback to anyone in the U.S. without the constraints of a formal clinical relationship.
-
It means I prioritize clarity over neutrality. While my approach is rooted in warmth and care, I won’t just sit in silence. I will call out contradictions and offer honest feedback. If you’re looking for a therapist who only nods, I’m likely not the right fit. If you want an active partner who tells it like it is so you can get moving, we’ll get along great.
-
For Therapy (MT & ID residents), I am in-network with Allegiance, BCBS HMK, BCBS MT, Montana Health Co-op, Optum, PacificSource and United Healthcare and can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
Workshops are private-pay only; because they are educational and not "medical treatment," they are not eligible for insurance coverage.
-
The "click" between therapist and client is the biggest predictor of success. I offer a brief, no-pressure consultation call where we can chat about what’s bringing you in and you can get a feel for my direct, relational style.
If it feels like a partnership that can work, we’ll move forward; if not, I can likely provide a referral to help you find the right support.
-
There is no one-size-fits-all answer, as it depends on your specific goals and history. Some clients find that 3–6 months of focused work provides the "reset" they need, while others find value in a longer-term, deep-dive relationship. We will check in regularly to discuss your progress and ensure our time together remains valuable and relevant.
-
Our first meeting is about "laying the land." We’ll discuss your history, the challenges you’re facing now, and what you want life to look like on the other side of therapy. It’s also a time for you to ask me questions. You’ll leave that first hour with a better understanding of how we’ll work together and a sense of the path ahead.
